Bridge clearance uses live EuRIS vertical-clearance data where available. Basel live gauge/Q from data.bs.ch 100089 and CCR/ZKR tables remain diagnostic/fallback. Water data: PEGELONLINE REST-API WSV. Other reference: CCR/ZKR 9.10 m requirements. Direct EuRIS clearance is used where available; flow-table rows use live EuRIS Q. Local regulation, locks, weirs, bridge marks, official notices and VHF information remain decisive. This tool is supportive and does not replace the captain's assessment.

Data: PEGELONLINE REST-API WSV, ELWIS RHEIN list and official TuGlW for the German Rhine route. The ELWIS 05/13/21 mode uses the latest today's scheduled reading from 05:00, 13:00 or 21:00. The calculator is advisory and does not replace official notices or the captain's assessment.
Lock settings Direction, range and status source

Lock status is loaded from EURIS/NtS when the source responds. Locks use the same GPS/manual route km from the header.

Locks in table -- Full Basel - Amsterdam route
Chambers in operation -- By NtS/live or base data

Nearest position -- Start GPS or enter route km in the header

Base lock data: EURIS/RIS, ELWIS/WSV and the Upper Rhine lock list used in the separate rhein_sluzy.html file. Live status attempts to read EURIS OperationTimes and NtS; when CORS/proxy does not respond, the app shows base data. Before approaching a lock, check official lock notices, VHF radio, signals and operator instructions. The table is a navigation aid and does not replace captain/operator communication.
Route settings Direction and warning filter

The assessment combines bridges, water, locks, ETA/GPS and active route notices.

Sources and disclaimer

The passability assessment is advisory: red means a critical point or all chambers of a lock are closed; yellow means restrictions, partial chamber closures, low reserve or an incomplete reading.

BSH NfS is a maritime source. For the inland Basel - Amsterdam route, EURIS/ELWIS NtS/NfB, gauges, signals and VHF remain the primary checks.
